River is easily my favorite character from the Firefly series. So, when Amelia and a few of my other friends
from school said they wanted to put together a Firefly costume group, I jumped right in! Which was good, since only
two of the other eight people involved had done any sewing at all, and neither of them had done a lot. Between Amelia
and I, we pieced together and made all nine costumes, with help from the others as we asked for it. Overall, they were
a great success, we got a lot of compliments! River is very comfortable to wear, although I do want to get a better wig
if I ever wear the costume again.
The majority of the cost of this costume was the pair of boots. I got the TUK Gladiators from http://www.heelandsoleshoes.com. They were really amazing to buy from, I highly suggest them!
