I've always been drawn to characters with extremely long, straight, dark hair. I've also always wanted to make a Sailor Moon character costume. So, when I found the sketches of Mistress 9 (and, at the time, Melly had been talking about making a Black Lady costume), there was no choice for me but to make it! I ended up using the same skirt that I used for The Magician.. I was lucky enough that it works for both characters! The top was really the only hard part, and even that wasn't too difficult. I also played with wefts for the first time.. I almost doubled the bulk of the wig by sewing them in. It was well worth it in the end!
