Mysteriously Vanishing Star is an extremely rare series from the 70s (I think). When my friends first introduced me to it at Ohayocon 2006, though, I was immediately hooked. We soon planned a group for Anime Central 2006, with an even larger group at the next Ohayocon. The costume itself was really simple to make.. I surprisingly owned many of the supplies I needed. The only part of the costume I really needed to make was Leisha's bling-covered, metallic hammer. I used a a mixture of aluminum foil and foil tape for the shape of the hammer itself. Then, I bought a few large bags of gemstones that I (very tediously) glued onto the hammer one by one. It was a very long proccess, but it was a lot of fun to do. If there are any other MVS fans out there, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me! I'd love to hear from any fellow fan.

Since it is extremely difficult to find any sort of reference image for this character, this is a sketch I had done when planning the costume. If you happen to come across any real references images, please send them my way :)
