Karolina is one of the best costumes I've made, in my opinion. It was very simple and used a lot of clever sewing techniques. Every seam I sewed was finished with a zig-zag stitch or fused down with interfacing. Even the harder parts (like the neckband and the earrings) came out really well! I only wore the costume once as part of a Runaways group, with Melly as Molly, Keith as Victor, and Fi as Chase. At AnimeUSA 2006, the cover artist of the series, Jo Chen, was a guest. All of us were able to talk with her for a bit, but some of her prints, and even attend her panel! She mentioned us later in her blog saying that the group of us made her feel very comfortable speaking in front of everyone, it made me feel very good! Unfortunately, I don't have ANY pictures of this costume, and now it's falling apart and won't fit me anymore. I'm hoping to fix it up one day to wear it again, but time will tell!
