Ayla has to be the most worn and possibly my favorite out of all of my costumes. I originally wanted
to make her for Otakon 2005, but due to time and money constraints, I ended up choosing other costumes instead. Later,
I realized that time and money wouldn't really be a problem. I only bought two things, really: the wig and grey fabric.
The length of time is what surprised me the most! I somehow managed to make almost the entire costume in one day (New
Year's Day 2006). I finished up the costume the next day, making it one of the fastest costumes to make as well! Between
not spending a ton, not taking a long time to make, and overall being very comfortable to wear around, it's no surprise
that it has appeared at so many conventions!
